How much is my face worth?

Hey guys!
So I have something different today, the "how much is your face worth?" posts have been flying around a lot these days and I was pretty interested to figure out the total cost of the make-up I wear every day.

So yes, you're going to see my face, I dyed my hair today and I feel like some cartoon character, it's so bright! Also, prices of the products and such will be beneath the pictures, so, without further ado, here we go!:

 Face:
Revlon Colourstay Foundation in Ivory ~ £12.49
Fashionista Compact power in Light ~ £4 (on offer)
Accessorize Merged Baked Blusher in Scandal ~ £5
Maybelline Fit Me concealer number 15 ~ £6.70
E.L.F healthy glow bronzer (used as highlighter, it's so pale!) in Luminance ~ £1.50

Eyes and Brows:
Rimmel brow pencil in Hazel ~ £2.99
MUA pearl eyeshadow in shade 24 ~ £1
Barry M eyeshadow pencil in No.7 ~ £4.59
Sleek Respect Pallete ~ £7.99
MUA eye primer ~ £2.50
Collection 2000 extreme 24 hour felt tip liner ~ £4.50
Cargo lashactivator mascara~ £5 (originally £25!)

Lips:
Kate for Rimmel number 107~ £5
Bourjois 3D effect Lipgloss ~ £1.99

Some of these prices aren't exact because I couldn't find them online or anything, so I went with estimating, from what I remember the prices are exact or pretty close!. I didn't realize until writing this how much product I put on my face everyday, I'm thinking it's a good job I don't live off MAC or Bobbi Brown and stick to high street brands. And so, the moment we've been waiting for, the grande total is...

Total: £65.25

I was actually expecting more than that! I'm pleasantly surprised by that,  I thought it was going to be £100+

How much he means to me: Sally Nails ~

Hey guys!
So Halloween is coming up and I have my costumes ready, I think I'm going to 3 parties this year and then there's fancy dress at work too! So I'm really excited, it's gonna be good. But any way, onto the nails. Im not dressing as Sally, I wanted to, but the costumes aren't too great, so instead I done my nails in honour of the film! Once again, sorry for the quality, but here they are:

Essie - Orange it's obvious
Bourjois - Lime Catwalk
Max factor - Chilled Lilac
Barry M jelly shine - Watermelon
Born Pretty store black nail pen
I know these aren't perfect but I really like them, they didn't take too long, I simply used a dotting tool to draw and fill in the shapes, then used the black pen for the stitching. I adore the colour Lime Catwalk but it seems to chip very easily, if anyone knows an alternative then please let me know.

Love and Internet hugs, Amy.

Konad plate Q1 cuteness :D

Hey guys!
So I bought the Konad Q1 plate a few days ago and I love it! From what I've heard it's a special edition for Konad UK, I bought it on Ebay for £9, which is fairly expensive but I couldn't resist.
So this is the plate:

I adore it, especially the full nail stamp and the swallows, they're so cute :D I've only used the full nail part so far, but I tested the others on paper and they all seemed to transfer well, without the special Konad polish. So here are the two nail deigns I've had, not especially interesting or well photographed, but I love them anyway.

Essie - Navigate her
Bourjois - Vert chlorophylle
Champneys - Raspberry

Chamneys - Plum
Max factor - Chilled Lilac

Mermaid or Dragon scales? Pendragon review ~

 Hello guys, back again!
So I bought this polish a while ago from Darling Diva Polish on Etsy, it's called Pendragon which just has the best name, so fitting with the colour. I'm going to bombard you with pictures before I say any more!

Gorgeous, Gorgeous, Gorgeous!

Natural light

Camera flash
Layered over H&M Come along with Me
So, this is a clear polish with loads of different glitters, green, gold, black, bronze and even large black ones. This is one coat over a blue varnish, it looks so mermaid-y, like a creature of the sea but over a green or black it looks like dragon scales! I think three coats may just about cover the whole nail, although a base is much likely to be needed.

The large black hexes are hard to get out of the bottle, digging to the bottle is needed, saying that, I love the look without them, they look slightly out of place on my smallish nails. The application is pretty easy, you need to move the glitter around slightly so it's not all clumped into one place, but still, quick and easy.

Overall, this was well worth the postage costs and I would totally order from DDP again if another colour caught my eye. It didn't take too long to arrive at my door, despite coming from America, the amount of colours and glitter in the bottle is amazing and ahh, it's just perfection in a bottle.

Love and Internet hugs, Amy!

Accessorize Nail Speckle: Leopard moth~

Hello!
I'm back again with another nail polish. I'm not sure if the nail speckle polishes are new from Accessorize but they all look super pretty! The one that I picked up though was Leopard Mot, its looks a lot like a one I seen on Etsy awhile ago, but I really didn't want to pay the postage price to the UK, this was a much better price at around £4. So low and behold, here are some pictures

So there you go, I love love love this! I think it'll be a go-to polish in the next month or so, its different, not really anything I've seen in stores before, and it's not sparkly either. The other in the collection looked pretty too although I'm not sure I'd wear them as much because they're very girly.

These pictures were taken two days after applying the polish, they're chipped but not too badly, that may have been down to the top coat though. Also, the white in the bottle would cover the nail in around 4 coats, but I used my Barry M white and then two coats of this, although one would have done, this mean the nail wasn't too opaque.

Love and Internet hugs, Amy.

Pink Glitter Ombre nails~

Hello!
You're getting two posts in one day!
Lucky aren't you?

So these are the nails I had a few days ago, for all I said I'm not one for sparkle or glitter I really liked the design, I love the effect of Ombre and it's just so easy and quick! So here are some pictures in a few different lights:

Maybelline - Black Onyx
Barry M- Magenta Glitter
Essie - Tour de Finance
Angelica - Brit Pop

If you haven't heard of Angelica you should really go looking, They're being stocked in Primark/Penneys at the moment and seem to be fairly popular. (I should know, I work there...) Brit Pop is a great colour layered over black or a bright pink colour, here I simply used a brush and placed the glitter on piece by piece, but as a whole it's a lovely polish.

This took about 15 minutes to do, and I think i would also look good with Aqua glitter by Barry M, which is even more amazing than the Magenta.

Love and internet hugs, Amy.

Heart and Crossbones~

Hello guys!
So today I have a quick nail 'art' post for you, sorry, not posted in a few days, a certain sibling of mine ran off with my camera for various reasons, hence the slightly rubbish Iphone photos.

I painted my nails a few months ago with cute bones and skulls and wanted to recreate it but using only a few colours, and slightly more girly. I know, I know, my little pinky finger is smudged but I rushed with the top coat!

These photo's are after three/four days after I painted them, they've been through work, university, baby sitting and other things, so I think they've lasted well. I think my thumb nail or the bow is my favourite design though.

Colours:
Essie - Tour de Finance
Barry M - Matte White
Maybelline - Black Onyx

I absolutely ADORE the pink Essuie colour, in the bottle it looks fairly shimmery but on the nails it barely shows up, which I actually prefer, sparkly isn't my favourite kind of polish in all honesty. The Barry M white is also pretty amazing, it isn't too streaky and covers the nail in two coats, most of the ones I've previously owned haven't been too great.

Amy, Out!
